Mariposa Pops

Jaxton Stalder

Jaxton started his journey with a lemonade stand when he was 5 years old at Mariposa's first Summer Fun Street Fair and asked if kids could have booths too. In 2018 with the help of his grandparents he built his own lemonade stand and had a booth at the event selling fresh squeezed homemade lemonade.
Then in 2020 he tried an amazing popsicle – it was pineapple coconut. He went home to his grandparents and they created a long list of popsicle flavors like blue lagoon, chai chai chocolate, pumpkin spice, pineapple peach and orange creamsicle.
In 2021, he raised over $5,000 on kickstarter! He got his permits, an event tent, commercial popsicle molds and his cart up and rolling to be a mobile food cart! He sells popsicles all summer downtown Mariposa, at the Mariposa Farmers Market, around town and at local events in Mariposa and Clovis.

We are so fortunate to have Jaxton apart of our Central Valley Young Entrepreneur community.  He is such an inspiration!

Little Valley Goods

Patrick Palmer

Patrick began his entrepreneurial journey in the summer of 2021 with a booth at Clovis Farmers Market selling candied almonds. He learned how to harvest almond trees on the school farm and then candy them in his Future Farmers of America (FFA) class. That summer he saved enough money to purchase a laser engrave to expand his business into custom wood signs.

His first big event was at Clovis Fest as a young vendor of the Children's Business Fair in September of 2021. Fair attendees were drawn to all of his creative wood designs. Since then he has attended markets all across the Central Valley and keeps a very busy schedule. You can always spot Patrick with his incredible vintage horse trailer, which he saved for and then converted into a market trailer in his shop class at his high school.

Patrick is a natural leader and entrepreneur! He is always willing to be involved and cheer others on! We are so happy to have him as a board member of Central Valley Young Entrepreneurs!

"If you have a dream just go for it already, because you never know what the future will bring you!"
